Instagram Reels: How to Get Started?
To churn a 15-second video, you have to access the Instagram camera, where Boomerang, rewind video, slo-mo etc. are there. Here, you have creative filters and music to make the video just the way you want to. Just like TikTok, you have choices to use audio for songs, trends, or challenges from Instagram music library. You can also control and set the desired speed, effects, and timer to Reels.
You can reach a broader audience than your followers with Reel videos that appear on Instagram’s Explore tab. You can also add your Reels stories but in this case, your video won’t be shown in Explore tab. It will disappear after 24 hours, just like stories.
Once recorded, you can select the target audience to share your video with and will be available to everyone who has joined the platform.
Various AR effects of Reels enable you to make your videos stand out with a unique touch. To use these effects, you simply have to open Reels camera, click on ‘effects’, and then on ‘AR effects’. Additionally, you can record, multiple Reels of 15 seconds at a time and add different effects to each of the clips. You can even review, delete, and re-record Reels, if required.
Just like TikTok, Reels are available with the option of ‘Use Audio’, which allows other Instagram users to use your audio to create their Reels.
